Crop Scientist - JhbFull job descriptionOur client who is in the agriculture sector is seeking a skilled crop scientist to service commercial agricultural producers in the Southern region of Zambia.Responsibilities:Agronomic expertise and technical support.Digital farming solutions.Market intelligence.Plant nutrition product portfolio development, sale, implementation and monitoring.Sales planning and forecasting, ordering and logistics.Credit application, debtor management and account query solutions.Stakeholder and relationship management, applicable to the commercial farming sector.Skills:Strong inter-personal communication,Negotiation skills,Ability to define problems; collect information; make sound judgements and involve relevant experts,Exercising sales collaboration with internal and external stakeholders,Ability to work independently within a diverse and geographically dispersed teams.Qualifications:BsC. Agric degree or associated qualification.Additional agricultural work-related certificates will be advantageous.Proven track record of similar work experience in agronomic support and plant nutrition sales to commercial agricultural producers.Minimum 3-4 years experience in an agronomy and sales role.MS Office experience.Agronomy expertise and knowledge.Fluent in english, written and verbal.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
