Crop Specialist / Grower (Soft Veg/Fruit) - Western CapeFull job descriptionCrop Specialist / Grower for Soft Fruit VegWe are recruiting for a Grower/Crop specialist to determine the best efficiencies for optimal growing conditions and yield of crops.RequirementsBSc Agriculture or similar3-5 years crop development and cultivationIntermediate to Advanced MS OfficeKey Performance:Determine Cropping requirements of a large scale farming practice with regards to:Spray, Fertigation, Irrigation, Climate Control, Soil maintenance, IPM and PollinationField Maintenance ManagementProcurement of Material and equipmentStaff ManagementExpert knowledge in Soft Vegetable or fruit farming is a pre-requisite as we require an individual who can easily identify challenges in the field and quickly implement cropping solutions to ensure the produce thrives.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):Have you worked extensively as a Grower, with the ability to read plants and their growing conditions with regards to either Kiwi, Blueberry, Cherry Tomato, Strawberry or Blackberries?
