About the Role:

Disa Primary School, in partnership with Common Good in the Collaboration Network, is seeking a dynamic Cross-Curricular Support Teacher. This role involves supporting pupils across multiple year groups and subjects (e.g., English, Maths, Science). You'll collaborate with teachers, deliver interventions, and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons for grades 1-7 in English, Maths, Science, and more

Collaborate with teachers to support planning and identify learning gaps

Track pupil progress and implement data-driven interventions

Promote a positive learning environment with effective behaviour management

Contribute to professional development and use blended learning techniques

Minimum Requirements:

Experience in Foundation and Intermediate Phases

Recognized Senior Phase teaching qualification (3-4 years)

SACE registration

Fluency in English and Afrikaans

Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office

Police clearance certificate required

Desirable Qualities:

Passionate, creative, and adaptable teacher

Strong communicator and team player

Technologically proficient with a focus on inclusive, engaging learning

Proactive, culturally sensitive, and reflective on teaching practice
