3 month initial contract - Hybrid(Sandton) - R 30 000 per monthOne of South Africas leading banks, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to drive its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This role focuses on agriculture, water, waste, and energy, ensuring alignment with the banks strategic intent.As a key leader, you will assess proposals, manage operations, and implement best-in-class, benchmarked CSI programmes that deliver measurable impact. Your strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, strategic insight, and leadership skills will be crucial in guiding the banks purpose-driven investments.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise needs, select projects, and ensure strategic alignment.Drive change interventions that maximise ROI and social impact.Align the banks CSI initiatives under a unified strategic purpose.Take full ownership of the CSI portfolio, ensuring seamless execution.Champion governance and compliance within Corporate Social Responsibility.Oversee Trust budget and operations to support sustainability goals.Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and systems for greater impact.Maintain robust administration and reporting of projects.Stay ahead of trends by continuously reviewing policies, guidelines, and industry best practices.Build and manage key stakeholder relationships to drive long-term success.Who Were Looking ForProven experience in CSI, CSR, sustainability, or related fields.Strong background in portfolio management, financial analysis, and operations.Strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to lead and influence across multiple teams.Passion for sustainability and making a meaningful impact.
