Previously disadvantaged candidates will be given preference.We have an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Mid - Senior CSI Programme Manager to join the Marketing Department of a leading financial services organisation in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs.This role is perfect for a strategic thinker from a corporate background who's passionate about driving meaningful social impact through community investment, corporate sponsorships, and high-profile events.If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of managing long-term social initiatives, sponsorships, and events, this role will allow you to leverage your expertise and creativity. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing key programmes focused on education, financial security, entrepreneurship, and food security-making a real difference in communities across the Western Cape and South Africa.You'll work independently while collaborating with a Brand Manager, a Designer based in the UK, a Digital team, a Marketing Coordinator, and a writer. You'll also partner with a PR agency to ensure seamless event execution and sponsorship management.   • Responsible for all long-term CSI programmes and partnerships.
  • Engagement and co-ordination of the company's education-based programme to ensure integration and collaboration between partners.
  • Develop metrics and measurement criteria for the annual evaluation of all CSI partners and beneficiaries to ensure ongoing alignment with the company's CSI strategy and accurately assess impact.
  • Strategically develop and assess initiatives to continuously evolve and adapt the approach, ensuring alignment with the changing needs of the communities supported.
  • Implementation of additional programmes to support the CSI strategic pillars being education, financial security, entrepreneurship, and food security.
  • Responsible for formal report backs at various forums, the CSI committee; Social Ethics and Transformation committee; and Foundation Trustees.
  • To vet, monitor & approve ad hoc internal and external sponsorship requests that are aligned with the CSI overall intent.
  • Conduct ongoing research to gather data pertaining to the CSI pillars and deepen the understanding of community challenges.
  • Drive all internal campaigns to support additional social impact opportunities e.g., Mandela Day etc.
Sponsorship Management
  • Oversee all Corporate sponsorship efforts supporting broader brand objectives, including evaluating sponsorship opportunities against established guidelines.
  • Plan, manage, and implement brand exposure and activation at sponsored events.
  • Report on the progress and success of sponsorship activities, including media exposure.
  • Where applicable, brief PR agency to conduct pre- and post-event media planning, ensuring optimal channel selection to maximise press and communication coverage.
Event Management
  • Oversee logistics and project management for sponsorship and CSI events, focusing on continuous improvement, innovation, and enhancing client experience. With the support from the marketing coordinator, this involves coordinating with event organisers and managing supplier deliverables.
  • Responsible for all supporting communication materials, including invitations, promotional items, and event signage.
  • Conduct post-event debriefs and provide comprehensive reports.
Budget Management
  • Responsible for annual budget planning for CSI initiatives, including
liaising with long-term partners to forecast costs and obtaining approvals fromthe relevant committees and trustees.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to administratively track, maintain, and
update CSI budgets monthly.
  • Scrutinise all costs to ensure they deliver value to the business.
RequirementsThe successful candidate must have/be:
  • Industry relevant Degree
  • Postgrad qualification will be an advantage
  • 6+ years' experience in CSI programme management
  • Project management skills
