Aligning or defines key programmes priorities with regards to maintaining standards and
complying with practices and principles associated with museology.
Co-ordinating and controlling tasks/activities associated with controlling personnel
performance, productivity and discipline.
Conducting research or partners international and local academics during collaborative
studies.
Applying the research methodology to execute data collection or observational studies.
Analysing, evaluating and making determinations on specific observations relating to
habitat, survival, threat and ecological value using natural science principles.
Validating or confirming the reliability of findings and testing hypothesis.
Developing and monitoring the execution of applications and procedures associated with
the acquisition, restoration and exhibition of specimens and artefacts.
Disseminating information and knowledge on the natural science field of study.

Essential Requirements
Master of Science (NQF Level 9) in Zoology with some relevance to Entomology or Taxonomy
or Systematics.
Registration with SACNASP as Professional Natural Scientist.
Valid motor vehicle driving license
4 Years relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
Doctor of Philosophy (NQF Level 10) specializing in Entomology or Taxonomy or Systematics.
5 Years relevant experience.
Must have published a research paper in scientific journals.
