Purpose:
We are looking for an Experienced Curtains Seamstress
Responsibilities
Play a crucial role in creating high-quality curtains and window treatments.
Primary responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric to craft custom curtains that meet clients' specifications.
Attention to detail and precision in sewing are essential to ensure the finished products are of superior quality.
Measure windows accurately to determine fabric requirements for each curtain project.
Select appropriate fabrics and trims based on client preferences and design specifications.
Cut fabric according to measurements, ensuring proper alignment and pattern matching.
Sew curtains using various stitching techniques such as straight stitch, blind hem, and pleating as needed.
Install hardware such as grommets, hooks, or rods to complete the curtain assembly.
Inspect finished curtains for quality standards, including seams, hems, and overall appearance.
Uphold deadlines and manage multiply projects simultaneously while delivering exceptional results.
Proven experience as a seamstress specializing in curtain-making or drapery fabrication.
Proficiency in sewing techniques and using industrial sewing machines.
