Print picking lists and proof of deliveries (PODs) for handover to delivery teams.
Special instructions communicated with handover of paperwork to each team.
Uploads endorsed PODs and supports reverse logistics and replacement process.
Ships cartons on Warehouse Management System (WMOS) when delivery successful.
Upload PODs for endorsements and successful deliveries.
Filing of signed PODs.
Stock queries and checks on warehouse and delivery systems.
Admin tasks linked to re-scheduled, refunded and pending orders on Order Delivery System (ODS) and WMOS.
Work closely with receiving, store and call Centre on returns back to DC.
Provide log numbers to stores for returns to DC.
Monitor WMOS stock reports linked to returns.
Monitor and provide regular updates on stock handover progress and loading in delivery cage.
Communicate with stores, HO and call centre on Manual PODs and general queries.
Truck maintenance data capture and booking with vendors for services and repairs
Drivers daily log sheets checked and filed
Record daily cleaning of trucks and audit of assembly tool boxes
License renewal of trucks
Report on orders waiting on customers nearing 30 days not delivered
Supports clearing of the delivery cage daily and maintaining required BOP standards
Support Load Master with receiving and staging of units.
Maintained regular and consistent attendance and adherence to work schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 (Matric).
A minimum of 2 years working experience as a DC Clerk.
Furniture distribution and delivery knowledge would be advantageous.
Skills:
Strong administrative skills.
Support, drive and achieve daily team targets.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel (i.e. aggregation worksheet functions [SUM, AVERAGE, etc.] data sorting and filtering, formatting, processing).
System knowledge (WMOS, PMM and ODS will be an advantage).
Understand and follow process.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail with consistent follow-through.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact and communicate effectively.
