Job Description


A prominent Global Health Company is seeking a Customer Marketing Activation Manager, South Africa & Sub Sahara Africa
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of local customer marketing plans in line with the regional marketing strategy for the Professional Hygiene BusinessThis role is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and reports to the Customer Marketing Manager, based in Dubai. The scope of the role will cover the customer marketing activations for South Africa and Sub-Sahara
Africa.

  • Develop and lead the implementation of local marketing plans, as part of joint business plans for selected strategic customers / distributors
  • Responsible to oversee the allocated customer marketing budget relating to activities
  • Establish and maintain marketing and merchandising relationships with strategic customers/ distributors
  • Monitor the overall product portfolio mix and recommend changes and improvements together with Key Account Manager or sales lead
  • Create and execute customer marketing campaigns (offline and online) and programs that drive customer engagement, advocacy and sales development
  • Secure development of customized co-branded sales support materials, customer catalogues, brochures, advertisements as well as digital sales tools
  • In conjunction with sales lead, ensure a robust return on marketing investment (ROMI) model, incl. setting KPIs, evaluation and follow up on with corrective actions
  • Represent marketing in Leadership Management Team (LMT) engagements
  • Responsible for reporting and analysis to provide customer insights to identify opportunities and threats.
Requirements:
  • Must have a tertiary degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3years B2B experience with executing customer marketing plans, B2C may be considered
  • Must have working experience within a Global Matrix organization, preferably working with, or understanding of a distributor model
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and CRM Software
  • Experience in digital marketing will be an advantage
  • Must have strong project management and presentation skills, displaying the use of analytics to prepare sales pitches and inform campaign strategy
  • Must be able to work independently and be a team player
  • Must be fluent in English and an excellent communicator (written, verbal and listening) able to engage in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
