PepsiCo SA employs more than 13, 000 people across our three business divisions: Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Fruit, Snacks, Juice & Beverages. Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining orders (email, call customers, EDI, Fax, WhatsApp) to be captured
  • Capture all orders received from customer order channel.
  • Check master data, pricing, order quantity per transaction.
  • Check and confirm stock availability at ordering site.
  • Communicate feedback daily to demand planning teams if stock is not available.
  • Queries with regards to late orders, blocked orders & short deliveries between internal stakeholders and customer
  • Check NDD data daily on order capture.
  • Adhere to daily customer call cycle.
  • Communicate proforma invoices and payment status on Cash on delivery (COD) customers
  • Communicate daily with reps and debtors department on blocked orders due to credit limits exceeded.
  • Obtain portal customers purchase order (PO) ref nr of the portal system for payment references for every order.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Understanding of our customer base
  • Knowledge of Ms Excel and Ms Word (computer literacy)
  • Accurate data capturing
  • Proficient typing skills
Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic order capturing understanding open order, blocked order, cash on delivery orders and short deliveries.
Personal Characteristics:
  • Attention to detail to ensure all specifications are met
  • Self-motivator
  • Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations
  • Valid forklift license is essential
  • 2 years experience in the similar environment
  • Health and safety standards
