Job Description


:You are accountable for the management of one centralized Customer Service & Logistics organization to drive end-to-end customer service excellence and achieve agreed service levels. You define and optimize the Logistics operations network, are responsible for management of internal resources, 3PL service providers, export operations and oversee the outsourced Customer Service Control Tower ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting business growth opportunitiesResponsibilities:

  • Lead Logistics Customer Interface team to ensure SLAs are met to deliver customer excellence across the end-to-end supply chain for Retail and Wholesale channel groups in line with the agreed service portfolio
  • Define customer service standards and terms, drive implementation through the Customer Service & Control Tower hub to meet customer service level targets
  • Negotiate, contractualize and Manage 3PL service providers of the outsourced Customer Service and Logistics Control Tower and drive performance improvement to increase Logistics excellence
  • Manage Logistics execution of all in-country operations of finished goods for all categories across regions (in-land and coastal)
  • Oversee Export operations to ensure SLA targets and cost reduction objectives are met supporting Tiger Brands growth
  • Define and optimize the end-to-end logistics network
  • Define and implement the Customer service and logistics strategy
  • Oversee capability improvement and best practice sharing within the categories with specific requirements .
  • Lead the transformation towards one central Logistics Capability group, centralizing order management and warehouse and distribution management, ensuring synergies across categories and increasing customer service performance and efficiency
  • Manage relationships with external network partners and key internal stakeholders within the Portfolio, Categories, Procurement and CoEs ensuring strong collaboration and alignment
  • Lead, manage and coach your team of professionals to develop top talent and create an attractive work environment
  • Improve and develop information systems set-up in your domain
  • Participate to corporate projects such as Inbound and Import logistics design, productivity pipeline development
