Role PurposeTo provide thought leadership and guidance regarding what is required to fulfil specific and or diverse security requirements. This includes security adoption plans, security architecture and design, responding to tenders, enabling cyber security resiliency using solutions that consider best practice aspects such as identification, protection, detection, response and recovery, testing, situational awareness, learning and evolving.Security Solution Architects further guide architecture discussions and the deployment thereof in security environments. Lastly, they provide hands-on business-oriented and enabling strategic and technical consulting to our customers.The Cyber Security Solution Architect is a solution leadership role within Cyber Security Sales that is responsible for delivering pre-sales and solution architect requirements to enable business growth across segments, including but not limited to engaging with customers, to understand their Cyber Security requirements in detail, to present suitable solutions and services, to provide thought leadership, to establish appropriate solution architectures, and to respond to customer requirements in the form of quotations and proposals (including tender responses). The Security Solution Architect is further a sales coach and leader, has a challenger mentality, is savvy in sales leadership practice, and contributes with vision and flawless execution of solution sales across workloads and solution areas.This position is also responsible for assisting our Security Sales Specialists (SSSs) within the Cyber Security team, the Head of Cloud and Cyber Security within OPCOs, and Key Account Managers (KAMs) in Liquid to identify, scope, present and respond as part of the customers Cyber Security requirements journey.Role DescriptionWorking within the Liquid Sales & Cyber Security team members to create and drive engagements, opportunities, and pipeline. Work with the broader business unit teams when responding to customer requirements and tenders. Understand the processes needed to enable Cyber Security sales, pre-sales, as well as hand-over to Delivery. Work with technical and non-technical business units such as the procurement and commercial teams to sometimes create, package, and present new Cyber Security solutions that address customer requirements.Assist in developing new solutions and services to gain / increase our market share. Lead competitive learning by market research, evaluating competitor products, programs, weaknesses, strengths and strategies and then educating key internal stakeholders to develop competitive solutions. Assist in conducting customer assessments and result reporting back to customers. Provide thought leadership with regards to solution deployments, best practices, due diligence, migrations or transitions, etc.Cyber Security subject matter expert. Ensure that customer requirements are understood, detailed solutions are designed, and responses are prepared. Understand and apply Cyber Security industry best practices, as well as related methodologies and processes that are needed in support. Technical and non-technical write-ups aligned to the Cyber Security templates and standards.Speak to or recommend solutions and services in line to customer requirements. Responsible to respond to RFI/RFB/RFP tender requirements. Recommend appropriate architecture standards and implementation of technical Cyber Security solutions. Present the value proposition of Liquid Cyber Security solutions and services to the customers in a consultative manner, including relevant presentations.Conduct technical and non-technical consultations with customers. Facilitate demand creation workshops and assessments with customers. Provide Cyber Security training to Liquid Cyber Security SSSs and Key Account Managers (KAMs).Stay in touch with the latest leading and evolving Cyber Security technology solutions and services.Suitable degree in IT, Engineering, Security or related field and Post-Graduate: PreferredMust have Cyber Security vendor certifications / qualifications, both technical and pre-sales: PreferredMust have industry-acknowledged information security or Cyber Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, SABSA, TOGAF:Preferred6- 8 years evidence of pre-sales activities and proposal writing, including tender responses: Essential6- 8 years demonstrable experience in architecting complex security projects/programmes:Essential6- 8 years demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi-system problems: Essential6- 8 years extensive experience in architecting enterprise security solutions: Essential6- 8 years' experience of working in a close Agile / Scrum team: Essential6- 8 years n-depth knowledge of IT and/or Telecoms technology architecture domains and how security is applied for networks, endpoints, servers, databases, applications, Cloud, OT, IOT, etc:EssentialAll Appointments are subject to the Labour Legislation in the respective country.
