This is a 12-month Contract, paying R500 PH for a DATA ANALYST to deliver strategic insights for the country's leading INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT platform.This position is an outstanding opportunity for a Data Analyst to drive strategic decisions by applying and delivering insights through advanced analytics, predictive forecasting, and trend analysis for this leading investment platform.THE COMPANY:This first-to-market investment platform is backed by South Africa's largest wealth management and financial services provider. Joining this team will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced environment committed to innovation and exceptional client value.THE ROLE:As a Data Analyst, you will analyse data (using your advanced analytics skills) to deliver insights that will shape business strategy - you will be skilled in data predictive modelling, forecasting, and trend analysis. You will be responsible for integrating data from various sources, cleaning unstructured data, and building business models that uncover patterns to support decision-making. Your work will influence key strategic initiatives, using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, Denodo and statistical analytic skills.Key responsibilities include:

• Developing data models, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights.
• Building predictive models and conducting trend analysis to guide decision-making processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies.
• Ensuring data quality by maintaining robust data standards and governance practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Numeric degree (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Finance) or relevant experience.10 years of experience in a Data Analytics environment, with at least 5 years as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Specialist.5+ years working with SQL and Power BI.Proficiency in data modelling, predictive forecasting, and advanced analytics.Experience in asset management or investment platforms.Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions.Exposure to Snowflake and Denodo for building and maintaining views, metadata management, and data services.
