To maintain data pipeline stability, availability and reliability through the facilitation of the observability and monitoring processes and associated activities which include providing level two data engineering support coupled with business or domain knowledge to ensure continued and quality service across geographies. This role will alternate day and night shift in order to ensure an uninterrupted data pipeline.
Qualifications
- Completed Matric
- Information Technology diploma/degree
5 Years Proven experience in ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and frameworks. Experience gained in providing level 2 technical support to data engineers in monitoring data jobs and pipelines. Gain understanding and experience of the various disciplines within data management and how these relate to each other. SAS, SQL, Hadoop and Control-M applications. Experience working night shift is ideal.
