The successful candidate will be responsible for analytical technical support to the Section on Infrastructure Asset Management projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate and analyze data and report resultsIdentify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the dataPerform basic statistical analyses for projects and reportsAnalyse data for inconsistenciesPerform data entry when needed or if requiredDevelop graphs, reports and presentations of project resultsGenerate routine and ad hoc reportsProcessing of data to ensure compliancePerform Quality Control procedural checksDevelopment of databases for MS productsDetailed analysis of data for reporting and qualityUpdating WIP and completed projects for capitalizationReview data and documents to WIP register that provides input to reporting and decision making for unbundling projectsGIS correction and updateProducing shapefiles for mapsTesting applicationsRecommended Qualifications, Skills, and ExperienceBCom/BSc Degree in Information Management or GISc & T Diploma, Computing, Mathematics, or related fields2 - 4 years' experience in data analyticsKnowledge and/or experience in Geographic Information Systems is preferredKnowledge and/or working experience in Asset and/or Maintenance Management is highly recommendedExperience in ESRI Software and Applications inclusive Survey 123, Field Maps, Dashboards, and Experience builder.ArcGIS Enterprise is desired.Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL (PostGIS) is desired.Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling mannerHighly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (Advanced Level)Ability to work well in a high-pressured environmentAbility to be manage time efficientlyAbility to work in a teamClosing date: Friday, 05 July 2024How to ApplyAll applications must be submitted online.
