We're looking for a

Data Analyst/Scientist

to extract value from existing and new data streams, transforming raw data into meaningful insights.


This role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to refine ideas, analyze IT-related datasets, and create impactful reports, interactive visualizations, and dashboards using tools like

Kibana, OpenSearch, and Power BI

.

Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

Meet with various teams and clients to understand their reporting and data reporting requirements. Conceptualizing how data reporting can be configured given specific data sets. Where additional data is required, work with various teams to understand what data is required and where it can be obtained. Build visualizations in and Dashboards within Kibana, Opensearch and PowerBI based on written requirements. Digging deep into data sets to understand how various trends, data points and outliers can be visualized. Create and maintain detailed user documentation for processes, procedures and instructions on how to use
applications
Assist with software UI testing on in-house applications to ensure its usability and functionality.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will meet most of these requirements:

Ability to understand data sets - review and analyse data to understand how data can be represented in graphs, charts and other visual forms. Understanding how to correlate different data sets together where it makes sense

Creating and maintaining dashboards

Understanding how to work with at least one large data engine, such as Splunk, Opensearch, Elasticsearch or other similar platforms

Strong understanding of reporting concepts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent (advanced) MS Excel skills

Experience or exposure to Kibana, Opensearch, PowerBI

Creative flare with a graphic design ability would be beneficial Exposure to AI engines and using them in business would be beneficial

Knowledge of or experience in basic software UI testing techniques to ensure usability and functionality (beneficial)
