Data Engineer - Cape Town - Century City (Hybrid) - paying R900k+ p/a + perksNEW WORK IN at an industry leader and global tech shop company specializing in digital marketing and e-commerce solutions. Everything about this team is huge!We are looking for the right skills and desire to learn, the Techy that is passionate to achieve better things for Data.This is what you need to land an interview:
- You have 5 to 8 years of proven experience as SQL and T-SQL (not your drag-and-drop kind of coding)
- Solid understanding of relational databases, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
- High level skills in T-SQL, query plans, and the RDBMS Engine.
- You have a deep love and understanding of DevOps principles, and you have worked with relevant tools e.g. Azure DevOps for CI/CD Pipelines, automation, GIT and infrastructure management
- Experience with Azure Cloud technologies: as Databricks, Event Hubs will win you points.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as experience in a high transactional environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
