About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled
Mid to Senior Data Engineer
with expertise in
Data Vault modeling
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines while ensuring the integrity and scalability of our data architecture. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable
data pipelines and ETL processes
.
Develop and optimize
Data Vault 2.0 models
to support enterprise data warehousing.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across multiple data sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
Troubleshoot and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient data processing.
Work in an
Agile
environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Document technical designs, workflows, and data architecture standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years
of experience as a
Data Engineer
or related role.
Data Vault 2.0 certification
is required.
Strong expertise in
SQL
,
ETL/ELT pipelines
, and
data modeling
.
Experience with
cloud-based data platforms
such as
Azure, AWS, or GCP
.
Proficiency in
big data technologies
(e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).
Hands-on experience with
Python, Scala, or Java
for data processing.
Strong knowledge of
data governance and security best practices
.
Experience working in an
Agile/Scrum
environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
DataOps and CI/CD
for data engineering workflows.
Familiarity with
real-time data processing
(Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.).
Previous experience working in
financial services, healthcare, or retail sectors
.
