Data Management SpecialistJob Purpose:
Our client is seeking a Data Management Specialist to manage and maintain accurate client and market reference data, as well as valuations for financial instruments like equity, bonds, derivatives, and unit trusts. This role ensures data integrity for reporting and resolves any data issues. If you have experience in financial data management and attention to detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate client and market reference data and valuations in the system.
- Perform quality checks to ensure data is correct and meets regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot pricing and data issues to prevent discrepancies in daily reconciliations.
- Manage a team of Data Analysts, ensuring productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Resolve business queries and data exceptions quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other teams on data management projects.
- Matric and 3 years Diploma/Degree in Finance-related fields.
- BCom in Economics/Financial Management/Investment Management/Accounting.
- CFA Level 1 is an advantage.
- Diploma in Financial Services Operations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments.
- Expertise in Hipot system.
- Proficiency in price graphic systems.
- Ability to manage and analyse data accurately for institutional reporting.
