Job Description

Delivery and requirements on this contract include -

• Analyze the existing data warehouse solution design i.e. ETL and/or ELT processes
• Analyze the current data modelling and the pain points in the solution
• Refactor existing solution and ensure non-functional and functional requirements are fulfilled to align with business requirements
• Refactor reporting solutions by addressing the pain points in the current design
• Migrate the refactored data warehouse solutions to Azure cloud

Production support

• Troubleshooting bug fixes, monitoring and corrective maintenance following the client's Incident and Problem Management Process.
• The production incidents, requests or maintenance must be tested documented and implemented as per our client's change and release management process.
• Run the client's support examples of correcting software errors; modifying reports and ensuring accurate report runs; making modifications to the application and documentation; writing ad hoc queries; loading and applying changes to the software language and/or database in which the application is written;
• Participate in the disaster recovery testing, planning and documentation as prescribed by the client.
• Adhere and mitigate Audit compliance

xc3x82 Engineering delivery

• Evaluate user requirements and advise on design and content of software engineering required to deliver required features.
• Ensure Architectural design Alignment
• Provide effort estimation and sequence for delivering designed features.
• Develop and configure designed features
• Code optimization
• Perform component integration testing on engineered software.
• Assist with system integration testing on engineered software.
• Plan cutover or migration activities required to implement required features
• Deploy software to production and perform planned cutover activities.
• Provide technical thought leadership around how new concepts should be architected and designed
• Provide quality assurance on deployment of new solutions

Skill requirements

• Application enhancement capability with the correct skillset, namely; Application SQL database administration and subject matter to support new demands including stand-in for other resources in the team.
• The application enhancement must entail: application research, analysis, design, programming, testing, documenting and implementing changes as per the client's change and release process; and loading and applying changes to the software language and/or database in which the application is written; providing corrections for production.
• 6-8 years experience within banking
