As a vital member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and high performance.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and configure SQL databases to meet company needs.
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and ensure high availability and performance of database systems.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement database solutions.
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.
• Manage database replication, clustering, and failover procedures.
• Ensure databases meet compliance requirements and industry standards.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
• Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in database security best practices.
• Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
• Good understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications in database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Oracle DBA).
• Experience with cloud-based databases and data replication technologies.
