An international logistics and supply chain company is seeking a Database Engineer to join their team. You will have the opportunity to work in a technologically advanced environment, collaborating with global teams while enhancing your expertise in database security, performance tuning, and IT infrastructure projects.Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (Required)
• ITIL Practitioner (V3) / ITIL Specialist (V4)
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (Advantageous)
• Oracle Database knowledge (Advantageous)
• ISO 27000 or IT security training
• Prince2, PMP, or equivalent project management certification (Advantageous)

Requirements:

• 7 to 13 years of relevant IT experience
• Minimum 8 years experience supporting and maintaining Microsoft Systems and Databases, including:

• Microsoft SQL Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
• IIS, Remote Desktop Services, WSUS
• PowerShell scripting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing technical projects and working in large corporate environments
• Familiarity with ITSM solutions and collaborative tools
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

• Database design and administration in compliance with ITIL standards
• Implementation and management of cloud-based and on-prem databases
• Capacity planning and IT infrastructure resource management
• Security and data integrity enforcement
• Backup and disaster recovery planning and execution
• Compliance with IT security, ISO, and QHSE standards
• Stakeholder collaboration with IT, security, and operational teams
