Job Summary Holds an active and valid nursing license and must be fully registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) Possesses relevant experience in a similar healthcare setting, preferably in theatre. Demonstrates excellent clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Exhibits strong communication skills, compassion, and empathy towards patients and their families. Displays a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current best practices in nursing. Job description: Preparing a patient for theatre. Scrubbing in theatre. Floor nurse in theatre. Ensuring all theatres, scrubs, drapes & instruments are sterile and prepared for surgery. Ensuring the sluice room and clean store are kept in order. Administrative and record keeping. Drug register. Patient dressings and wound care.
