  • Deal implementation and loan lifecycle management for a portfolio of property clients
  • Review of reconciliations, month end procedures and review deal accuracy
  • To partner with front office and support as part of the deal team to ensure effective deal implementation
Accountability: Business Management & General Control Execution (70%)
  • Front office support: form part of deal team and participate in implementation as support to front office
  • Contracts management: Ensure deal implementation in line with legal agreement. Ensure correct application of termination clauses including understanding unwinding/ restructuring costs.
  • Client focus: where required liaise with clients working with front office and specialists teams eg Legal, Credit
  • Financial modelling: ability to prepare sound financial models
  • Funding: implementation and management of funding on deals
  • Review of reconciliations, month end procedures
  • Process Improvement: Analyse and identify gaps within processes to enhance efficiency and improve turnaround times and quality output
  • Understand and manage risks and risk events (incidents) relevant to the role
Accountability: Stakeholder Management (20%)
  • Develop and manage strong internal and external customers/stakeholder relationships to proactively anticipate, respond to and seek to exceed the expectations of internal customers and devise the best solutions for clients
  • Active engagement and collaboration across the CPF value chain
Accountability: Projects/ Change (5%)
  • Able to implement multiple projects and manage change
Accountability: People Management (5%)
  • Management of a small team (0-3)
Education and Experience Required
  • Preferably 5 to 10 years experience within the SA property market or Investment Banking loans middle office/transaction administration/documentation management/ product control experience
  • Preferably 2-5 years ACBS system experience
  • Commercial Degree preferable
Knowledge & Skills: (Maximum of 6)
  • Understanding of the deal flow process and rationale behind procedures
  • Loan product knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Performance orientated and client service driven
  • Control mindset
  • Strong ACBS system knowledge
  • Ability to manage and develop a small team
