BCom Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management or similar field of study.
Skills and experience required:
2 - 3 years experience in a similar position.
Automotive Retail / Dealership experience is a non-negotiable requirement.
Sound knowledge and understanding of accounting and tax concepts.
Understanding of the service, parts, sales and financial services departments within the dealership environment.
Able to work under pressure.
Sound financial acumen.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Job description:
Journal entries
Management accountants, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet accounts.
General Ledger.
Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are adhered to.
Risk management.
Conduct reconciliation of vehicles, parts, and service assets, verify against accounting records and address all anomalies with senior line management.
Management of all assets (cash, fixed assets, etc)
Perform reconciliations of financial records to enable verification of the validity of transactions.
Report on key performance metrics and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
Policies and procedures.
Budget variances and solutions.
Payments and debtors.
Identifying cost saving initiatives and opportunities to increase profitability.
Ensure accurate billing of accounts and charges.
VAT returns and SARS compliance.
Plan, manage and monitor processes to ensure customer service excellence.
Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships.
