Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience in the automotive industry (advantageous)

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations. Manage and oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts, including bank accounts, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Prepare necessary documentation and assist with financial audits conducted by external auditors. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and negotiating favorable terms when possible. Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations specific to the automotive industry, and ensure compliance with tax requirements. Stay updated on industry best practices and provide training or guidance to other finance team members or dealership staff as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making. Conduct periodic financial analyses and provide insights to improve dealership performance. * Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial information.
