Job Description
Our client located in Pretoria, Gauteng seeking a meticulous and organized Dealership Creditors Clerk to manage their accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry and a strong background in accounting.Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and reconciling creditor invoices and statements.
- Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
- Verifying and posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
- Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to creditor accounts.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date creditor records.
- Preparing monthly reports on accounts payable activities.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assisting with audits and other financial reviews as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting qualifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Creditors Clerk, preferably within a dealership or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
