Must understand the full value chain workings of Parts, from ordering, receiving, stocking, sales, dispatch, logistics and invoicing. * Good leadership and team qualities and the required levels of EQ in managing and interacting with all stakeholders.Staff coaching and HR understanding * Warehousing
Perpetual stock counts
Quarterly stock counts
Purchases in terms of re-order categories and not increasing redundant stock value.
Strategy on disposing of dead stock not including OEM buybacks.
Backorders, stock adjustments, parts store security, binning and other standards, workshop counter, despatch and courier where required.
Stocking of parts, intercompany accounts recon
Parts department controls implementation & monitoring
Customer Care and weekly business retention visits to ensure parts growth & retention.
Marketing
Requirements:
Must have parts manager experience 5 years+ at a franchise dealership
Extensive knowledge in Vehicle Parts
Experience with OEM requirements
Experience in a management role
Excellent client service experience
Technical and Analytical skills
Must have Kerridge, Drive, Automate or Evolve experience
Sound knowledge and understanding of inventory monitoring principles
