Job Summary JOB PURPOSE: To evaluate and present applications for funding and structure deals that contribute towards unit and company objectives as well as industry xc3x82 development goals. This would include performing the financial and/or technical and/or marketing due diligence functions and ensuring risk identification and mitigation.xc3x82 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:xc3x82 xc3x82 xc3x82 Financial / Shareholder Returns xc3x82 xc2xa2 Evaluate and effectively structure transactions with detailed application of company financing instruments (where applicable/appropriate) xc3x82 Internal / Operational Processes xc2xa2 Evaluate applications for finance (financial, technical or marketing disciplines) through conducting due diligences/investigations xc2xa2 Deal structuring - Designing and negotiating the financial, EHS, legal and other relationships between the client and the organisation for the specific deal (where applicable) xc2xa2 Risk identification and mitigation xc2xa2 Participate in due diligences xc2xa2 Deal Optimisation - Ensuring that the deal is aligned with the strategic objectives of the unit and will contribute to meeting industry development goals xc2xa2 Account management function up to first disbursementxc3x82 xc2xa2 Prepare and submit basic assessments and comprehensive credit proposals that meets the organizations funding requirements. xc2xa2 Ensuring accurate client data management xc3x82 Customer Focus Stakeholder Management xc2xa2 Maintain meaningful relationships with enquirers, applicants and portfolio clients in conjunction with different support functions in the company. xc2xa2 To effectively interact with different SBUs and departments in order to fulfil the process requirements related to any specific business transaction. xc2xa2 Manage and enhance the levels of service and communication to ensure the provision of client service excellence. xc2xa2 Liaise, communicate and promote the unit externally xc3x82 Learning, Leadership People Growth xc2xa2 Drive and manage own development to enhance own competencies xc2xa2 Participate in knowledge sharing in the team and cross functional xc2xa2 Mentoring and acting as a coach to Business Analysts QUALIFICATIONS Minimum qualification: CA (SA) KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE 5-8 years related experience of which 2-3 years should be in assessment as well as closing of transactions (i.e. management of approved deals up to first drawdown, including ensuring timely conclusion of legal agreements). Declared competent in two due diligence disciplines (Marketing, Technical or Financial).xc3x82 Grounded in one of the above due diligence disciplines. Experience in interpretation of financial statements. Sector-specific knowledge would be advantageous. Knowledge of financial products as used by IDC.
