Job SummaryOur client in the public sector has an opportunity available for a Dealmaker to be based in the Polokwane area.JOB PURPOSE:
To evaluate and present applications for funding and structure deals that contribute towards unit objectives and industry development goals. This would include performing the financial and/or technical and/or marketing due diligence functions and ensuring risk identification and mitigation.Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical honours degree
- 5-8 years related experience of which 2-3 years should be in assessment as well as closing of transactions
- Declared competent in one due diligence discipline (Marketing, Technical or Financial)
- Grounded in one of the above due diligence disciplines
- Experience in interpretation of financial statements
- Report writing skills
- Evaluate applications for finance (financial, technical or marketing disciplines) through due diligence investigations
- Deal structuring
- Participate in due diligence teams
- Deal optimization
- Account management function up to first draw
- Ensuring accurate client data management
- Customer focus & stakeholder Management
- Liaise, communicate and promote the unit externally
