Primary responsibility to monitor and ensure the performance of deboning including the employees and to perform additional deboning related duties as assigned by management.
Educational requirements
Bachelors degree or Equivalent
Grade 12
Computer literate
Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
Valid forklift license advantageous
Minimum Requirements
Have thorough knowledge of pork and beef deboning
At least 3 years working experience in a similar work environment
Management experience will be advantageous

Very responsible, hardworking, dedicated and very passionate about production
Organised and ability to work in a demanding work environment
Detail orientated with prolonged attention span
Key performance areas
Train and manage all deboning employees and supervisors to meet product volume requirements.
Perform basic office clerical work.
Provide ongoing job training to supervisors for support and advanced planning.
Monitor staff attendance daily and report all absenteeism to HR daily.
Supervise the processing of meat according to the specific food safety quality standards
Maintain a safe working culture amongst the deboning employees through the implementation of company values, policies and procedures.
Manage staff productivity
Ensure that bones are cut from standard cuts of meat to prepare meat for packing and marketing.
Ensure the weighing and labelling of products are done correctly.
Ensure correct packaging / boxing of meat cuts .
Conduct daily inspection checks to ensure hygiene on food contact and non-food contact surfaces.
Anything else the company should require you to do.
