Job Title: Debt Collections Agent
Location: Roodepoort, 14th Avenue
Employment Type: 3-Month Contract
Salary: R6,000 - R6,500 per month:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Debt Collections Agent to join our team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inbound and outbound debt collections, with the ability to handle customer queries and negotiate repayment plans effectively. This role is critical in ensuring timely and efficient recovery of outstanding payments while maintaining a professional relationship with clients. A past experience collecting for a telecommunications book.Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound collection calls in a professional manner.
- Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, negotiating repayment terms.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while achieving collection targets.
- Accurately update and maintain records of customer interactions.
- Resolve client queries and disputes, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Follow up on promises to pay and initiate further actions when payments are not made as agreed.
- Matric certificate (Grade 12).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in debt collections, with a focus on both inbound and outbound collections.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Computer literate with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The position is based in Roodepoort, 14th Avenue. Candidates should be able to commute to the office daily.Salary:
