Debtors Clerk - Cape TownFull job descriptionOur growing team in Cape Town (Parow) is looking for a self-driven and experienced Debtors Clerk. Only candidates with previous Debtors experience, available to start immediately and residing in Northern suburbs of Cape Town should apply.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Processing of debtors.Monthly Debtors reconciliation.Handling Debtors queries.Full Debtors function.Collection of debtors.Firm hand on debtors.Handing over of delinquent accounts for collection.Knowledge of legal parameters with handing over of accounts.Drafting accurate Age Analysis.Sending out statements to clients.Communication on ad-hoc basis with different parties associated with the company.General administration tasks.Provides back-up assistance to the broader financial team.Time & attendance and pay-roll administration.DESIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:Good interpersonal and communication skills.High level of numeracy.Focused and committed to task at hand.Strong reconciliation skills.Strong at attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft ExcelMatured individual with excellent accounting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills who can focus intently on achieving results.Knowledge of HR procedures and processes (advantageous).REQUIREMENTS:Experience in Sage/Pastel/Quickbooks/Acumatica.Proven track record in Debtors/Accounting environment with a minimum of 5 years experience.Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.Good communication and telephonic skills.BilingualPACKAGE:Market related and dependent on experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: R14 000,00 - R18 000,00 per monthApplication Deadline: 2024/11/11
