Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with 3+ years relevant debtors control experience in the construction industry
Must be fluent in English & isiXhosa and resident in Mthatha
MS Office literate with advanced Excel skills as well as proficiency on Pastel

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Manage debtorsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 function, collections and junior finance staff
Notify customers of outstanding documents and ensure credit applications are correct
CGIC (Credit Guarantee) / BCM (Building Credit Management) / other credit insurers xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x93 liaison and management of processes
Credit limit assessment and recommendations and checking of trade references
Ensure credit limit adherence and liaise with customers who have reached limit
Follow up on debts owing to company
Reconciliation and assessment of customer refunds
Product monthly and interim statements for customers
Ensure debtors receipts are accurate allocated
Manage information and documentation flow affecting debtors
Onsite person to assist Finance Manager
Ensure deadlines are achieved
Authorize petty cash expenditure
Attending meetings and ensure systems / procedures are followed

Salary: R19xc3x82 000.00 xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x93 R20xc3x82 000.00 per month
