You will implement transformation office projects in the Financial Services Sector, ensuring long term impact delivery.
As a Delivery Manager, you will lead on transformation projects by engaging at a deep level across our clients' businesses, working in teams to build the capabilities, systems and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and then ensure those results will be sustained.
You will lead, coach, and motivate your team of consultants and client employees in each project. You'll act as a subject matter expert, combining experience with strong problem-solving abilities to derive business insights and solid recommendations for clients.
You will contribute to the implementation of our Delivery groups growth strategy, and you will take responsibility on the development of the firm.

You will be based in our McKinsey office in Johannesburg, as part of our delivery assurance offering, working closely and in partnership with client's senior management and their specialist departments.

Your qualifications and skills

5+ years of experience in project management some coming from a consulting environment with high problem solving ability Proven experience delivering and execution business transformation projects such as: turnaround, restructuring, capability building, organisational structure, and setting up a Transformation office Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or similar field with strong record of academic achievement Demonstrated track record in one or more of the following key service offerings: organizational development (including org. design/set up, talent management, etc.), transformational delivery (driving large transformational programs), and productivity and performance improvement Experience developing business unit strategy and leading large- scale change programs, preferably while establishing strong relationships with senior clients You have experience in leading people and building teams, empowering team members to achieve impact You enjoy the flexibility and agility that is required in a consulting environment Proven expertise in Mining Operations, Telco or Banking You are experienced in conducting workshops and coaching sessions * You are driven by creating long-lasting impact and enjoy leading teams to achieve results
