Job Description

Demand Forecasting:
Develop and maintain statistical models to forecast product demand based on historical sales data, market trends, and business intelligence
Utilize forecasting software and tools to generate short-term and long-term demand forecasts
Continuously monitor and update forecast models to improve accuracy and reliabilitySupply Planning:
Develop and implement supply plans to meet forecasted demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align supply plans with production schedules and supplier capabilities
Monitor supply chain performance and address any issues or disruptions to ensure continuous supply availabilityData Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in product demand.
Perform root cause analysis on forecast errors and provide recommendations for improvement
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate findings and insights to management and stakeholdersCollaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance, to gather relevant data and ensure alignment on demand planning
Present forecast data and insights to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve data collection and analysis processesProcess Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of demand forecasting
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in demand forecasting and data analysis
Develop and maintain documentation for forecasting processes, methodologies, and toolsPerformance Monitoring:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand forecasting accuracy and efficiency
Provide regular updates on forecast performance and suggest corrective actions when necessarySkills & Experience:
Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting methods
Experience with forecasting software and data analysis tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracyQualification:
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
