Demand Planner - WoodstockFull job descriptionDemand Planner xe2x80x93 Salary between R50K and R60K pm.Responsibilities:1. Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams.2. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information and incorporate it into demand forecasts.3. Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and other factors to anticipate changes in demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.4. Create and maintain inventory replenishment plans to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.5. Monitor inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.6. Identify and resolve supply chain issues, such as production delays, transportation disruptions, or supplier shortages, to minimize impact on operations.7. Utilize inventory management software and other tools to track inventory levels, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports for management review.8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and reduce lead times.9. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact demand or supply chain operations.10. Continuously evaluate and refine supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
