Job Description
45k - 55k Monthly Cost To Company (Normal company benefits included (Medical aid plus pension), Market related, Negotiable)This client is based in the Woodstock area and they are looking for an experienced Demand/Supply Planner to join their team. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Admin or related is required for this role. Open to South Africa citizens.Requirements
- Proficient in inventory management software, ERP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting and/or inventory management preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and production teams
- Analyse demand patterns, seasonality and other factors that will impact inventory levels
- Resolve issues such as production delays, transportation disruptions or supplier shortages
- Monitor inventory levels closely
- Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics as well as any regulatory changes that may impact demand
- Be totally driven by continuous improvement mindset to improve customer satisfaction
