A career opportunity exists at REINHARDT TRANSPORT GROUP, NSELENI DEPOT, RICHARDSBAY for the position of:DEPOT MANAGER - RICHARDSBAYJOB SUMMARY:Responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the Depot, Warehouse, Truck Wash Depot.RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)

• Operational Management: Responsible for 3 sites: (a) Nseleni main depot, (b) Transmac truck wash depot and (c) Alton warehouse, supervise employees, manage workflow and ensure efficient operations.
• Diesel Tanks: Responsible for diesel storage tanks, diesel pipeline, pumps, filter banks maintenance.
• Inventory Management: Planning and implementation of bulk product storage, dispatch to ensure minimal losses.
• Transport Co-ordination: Operational planning and implementation on the offloading of ships in the harbour
• Customer Service: Customer liaison, respond to queries promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Liaise with Group Marketing to establish new client business.
• Safety: Renewal of all legal certificates as required by law. Assist the Safety Department to enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: Submit reports on depot performance, do recommendations for improvement.
• Recordkeeping of monthly Dust monitoring certificates for the Department of Environmental Affairs
• Capturing of the Daily Diesel reconciliation report

REQUIREMENT:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Transportation & Logistics will be an advantage
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a management position
• Knowledge of HR requirements and procedures
• Experience in obtaining new business, professional client approach
• Must be able to prioritise tasks, effective time management
• Computer literacy with advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Must reside in / around RICHARDSBAY
