Depot Operations Manager - TygervalleyFull job descriptionPaysAfrique du SudLieuSouth AfricaLieu de travailCAPE TOWN-TYGER VALLEY CHAMBERS 2(ZAF)Socixc3xa9txc3xa9 employeurTOTALGAZ SOUTHERN AFRICA (PTY) LTDDomaineOpxc3xa9rations ExploitationType de contratCDIExpxc3xa9rienceMinimum 10 ansProfil du candidatBasic Qualifications:A professional Degree in Engineering (B-Tech/BSc) in the area of (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process)- NQF-7A minimum of 10 years working experience on the operations side, in the downstream Oil & Gas or LPG industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.Desired Qualification:A good knowledge of all relevant legislation related to Depot Operations and HSEQ functions, e.g. OHS-Act; HAZCHEM Regulations; Road Transportation Act, SANS Codes and SABS Regulations applicable for LPG industry.Knowledge & Exposure to Supply Chain, and Transport.Knowledge & Exposure to Industrial relationship and Contract management.Knowledge & Exposure to various management systems (ISO, TQM etc.)Activitxc3xa9sDepot Operations Management Ensure safe and cost-effective management of Depots in line with Group Standards and Local Regulatory requirements.Ensure optimal depot performance in line with sales budget.Monitoring of bulk and cylinder stock at the depots and ensure no losses in the area of operations.Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve production and customer satisfaction.Ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset and stock management, for area of operations.Ensure business continuity and maintain effective contingency plans to minimise disruption of operational activities.Manage key internal and external stake holder relationships.Reporting:Daily, Weekly & Monthly reporting of Depot Operational KPIs, Audit compliance reports (Maestro/ Maestro LOG etc.), Material Balance Reports etc.People Management:Demonstrate and apply the necessary operational, managerial and leadership skills required for the effective running of the Depot Operations.Effectively manage employees through applying the company HR principles, and to develop, coach and mentor Team members to promote a positive working environment which will attract and retain skilled staff and increase productivity.Collaborate with different departments within the company to achieve the company goals as a Team.Effectively Manage the Permanent contract employees at DepotsHealth, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality:To effectively manage and minimize HSE risk within Depot Operations by ensuring: Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guideline and legal requirementsPromotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategiesEnsure that HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within area of responsibilityEnsure that appropriate performance indicators (KPIs) and reports are in place to measure of the HSEQ performance of the Depots.Ensure timeous and appropriate investigation of operational incident and accidentConduct frequent Management tours to oversee the Depot operations.Implement, monitor and maintain management systems such as One Maestro, Maestro LOG, PATROM and Integrity Management etc. Contexte et environnementLPG Market aprox. 70 KTDepots are situated in remote locationsSupply is key to the operation of the companyInformations supplxc3xa9mentairesTo achieve the optimal mix of production and cost in Depot operations with constant focus on improving efficiency.
