Job SummaryHire Resolve's client is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Deputy Unit Manager to join their team in delivering exceptional healthcare services. As a Deputy Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Unit Manager, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of patient care.Responsibilities:

• Assist the Unit Manager in overseeing daily unit operations and managing staff.
• Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring compliance with standards and protocols.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance to promote professional development.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to implementing best practices.
• Monitor patient outcomes and address issues promptly to ensure safe, effective care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Assist in managing the unit budget and resource allocation effectively.
• Support in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse qualification with valid SANC registration.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic medical records.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
