Core Purpose:The role focuses on producing technical deliverables for large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, with a specific emphasis on civil infrastructure design using Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D software. Responsibilities include planning, designing, site supervision, and construction monitoring of both internal and external civil municipal infrastructure (including water, sewer, roads, and stormwater management) for existing and new developments across both private and public sectors. This also includes the compilation of Tender Documentation such as Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Bills of Quantities, and Tender Drawings.Key Performance Areas:

• Design & documentation of municipal services
• Independent management of project technical deliverables
• Experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Familiarity with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTO
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Preparation of technical reports and presentations
• Proficiency with Civil Designer, Civil3D, and AutoCAD
• Planning, organizing, and controlling specific technical tasks
• Ensuring adherence to Quality Management System
• Staying updated with technical best practices

• Qualifications: Applicable Bachelor's or BTech degree in Engineering.
• Registration: ECSA as a PR Eng.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Municipal Infrastructure Design.

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Organizational proficiency
• Experience in managing construction projects
• Experience as a chairperson in contract/project meetings
• Ability to produce project progress reports and manage cash flows
• Proficient with Microsoft Projects, Excel, and Word
