Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer, specializing in substations, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing substation projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and providing technical expertise.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for substations, including layout, equipment selection, and schematics.
- Perform load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs.
- Prepare detailed design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on substations.
- Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
- Strong understanding of substation design principles and practices.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE, ANSI, and IEC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
