Job Description
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate should have experience in mould design, especially within a Toolroom environment, and demonstrate strong expertise in blow and injection moulding design.Requirements:
- Experience in mould design within a Toolroom environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of both blow moulding and injection moulding processes.
- Design and develop moulds for the production of rigid plastic products.
- Oversee entire projects from initial concept through to industrialisation.
- Create components according to briefs and provide guidance on material selection and functionality.
- Oversee mould trials and furnish all necessary information to trial personnel.
- Engage in the sourcing of mould components.
- Work closely with toolmakers throughout all stages of mould manufacturing.
- Keep the mould/drawing database updated and well-maintained.
- Address and resolve component and mould issues.
- Lead various technical projects aimed at improving the toolroom and production processes.
- Take initiative or collaborate on projects.
