Best Baby Brand (2018, 2019, 2020), Most Eco-Friendly Brand (2020, 2021, 2022), The Queen's Awards for Enterprise (2022), Cant Live Without Parenting Product (2021, 2023), Made for Mum (2024).RoleWe are looking for an experienced South African-based Designer with 3+ years demonstrated experience working in graphic design, preferably with proficiency in illustrating to join our dynamic Product Team to support with all design development, print repeat creation, placement prints and product branding. You have a passion for the sector with an impeccable eye for detail as well as a seamless ability to translate MORIs unique brand identity into all of your designs.Key Responsibilities:

• Creating supplier-ready artworks for print repeats and placement prints
• Developing mood boards, collating inspiration and concepting for new collections illustrative and colour focus
• Designing and visually crafting product collections for both internal and external presentations
• Engaging in general design and development tasks and admin
• Familiarity with Pantone colours to supply suggestions of colours for ranges
• Using trends and expertise to propose new ideas and concepts
• Use knowledge of layout design to produce and update assets such as swing tags and back neck labels

Requirements

• Passionate about clothing design patterns, and in particular childrens wear, keeping updated on upcoming trends and changes in the industry
• You hold a Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Arts degree
• Extensive experience in graphic design software and tools - specifically Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator and Photoshop
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Google Workspace skills, particularly Excel/Google Sheets
• Knowledge of colour theory and its application in illustrative assets
• A strong proficiency in typography and its use in graphics
• Proven experience in layout design and successful balance of an artwork in relation to its context of use. (i.e. fit for purpose)
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
• Proven experience working remotely in a contractor capacity
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines end-to-end with a self-starting mentality

**This role is to work on all artwork that goes on a product but not textile design itself.Benefits
