An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Designer within our Merchandise Buying division across all categories of products.The successful candidate through collaboration with the Product Team, is responsible for interpreting original inspiration and design sketches into digital artworks. Bringing the Brands visions and designed silhouettes to life digitally through an experienced understanding of colour, prints, embroidery, fabrics and patterns.Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated, positive, and passionate about design within this retail space.
Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in fashion design or similar background

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in design or graphic art for apparel/Footwear/Accessories
• Experience in a CAD program, such as Freehand and Photoshop or Illustrator and Photoshop
• Graphic design experience advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills - proficiency in

G-Suite/Google workspace advantageous) * Knowledge of textile repeats, apparel graphic/print techniques

• Have strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Good understanding of fashion and trends
• Ability to work efficiently and independently while function as part of the overall Merchandise team
• Enthusiastic, motivated, organised individuals that can bring a positive energy to the table
• Able to work collaboratively with design team and merchants
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and adapt to change
• Extremely organised, efficient, and detail-oriented - excellent calendar adherence and ownership

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research - To assist in successful seasonal range build up continuously
• Develop the seasonal and carryover ranges - Produce artwork on a seasonal basis that

maintains the Brands aesthetic in design and that is technically ready for production. This
includes prints, graphics, yarn-dyes and embroideries for both woven and knits and for all
classifications with existing product line but not limited thereto * Create and populate the tech packs with regards to all design elements - Designer tocreate and provide direction on recolouring, rescaling prints and to develop unique original
artwork through mixed media, graphic design and CAD * Ensure product follow Brand compliance and quality standards whilst managing costs - ensurealignment of QA standards
