We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Mid-weight Graphic Designer at a renowned, global brand in Somerset West, in the Helderberg region. Print Design and some Digital are the cornerstones of this role, that sits within the Marketing team. While the role calls for a skilled traditional (print) Designer, you should also be adept at creating Digital designs as needed on an ad-hoc basis.We're looking for a passionate all-rounder, comfortable working on packaging, print and digital design. • A solid all-rounder with agency and in-house experience
• Extensive branding experience
• Should be able to conceptualise and complete a brief from start to finish
• Present and pitch creative concepts
• Design Marketing collateral for Print, including layouts, publications, large format, POS
• Design marketing collateral for Digital including icon development, motion graphics, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, Google Ads, social media design, emailers (an understanding of Insider and Dot Digital preferred), mobile-friendly web design, image edits and colour correction, and any ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• The successful candidate must have/be:
• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design/Multimedia arts
• Minimum 3-4 years in-house or agency experience
• A solid all-rounder with retail experience, preferably currently in-house with agency experience in the past
• Branding experience
• Able to present an extensive design portfolio of work to be sent with CV
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro)
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must have a clear understanding of packaging, and print as well as digital design (responsive, mobile etc)
• Understanding of PPC and PMAX and paid social media - a nice to have
• Organisation skills in regard to filing systems
• Exposure to CMS systems e.g., Dot Digital, Mailchimp etc.
