Providing expert knowledge and advice to our groups businesses and playing an integral role in both day to day operations and continued enhancements of our workplace technology.Every day you will

  • Assist the projects to migrate to a new software deployment toolset.
  • Work with the Infrastructure & Information Security Teams, ensure regular testing of and deployment of patches/updates to ensure software and apps remain current and free from known bugs or security flaws.
  • Use MDM tools to ensure all devices connecting to the Acacium Group network are appropriately managed and kept compliant to security standards.
  • Assist in the project to deploy a new MDM solution to Acacium Group & ensure that Acacium Group are continually on the latest version of this software, and this is properly tested prior to deployment.
  • Use industry best practice to manage and deploy a standardised build to desktops and laptops as well as maintaining builds used on Remote Desktop Services/Virtual Desktops.
  • Work with vendors, ensure printer hardware estate is effectively managed and printer usage is monitored.
  • Ensure integration is achieved where possible with all O365 apps.
  • Manage and report on the use of all installed Commercial Off The Shelf Software (COTS) on end user devices to ensure Acacium Group remains compliant to licensing requirements and security.
  • Manage and report on all Acacium owned hardware insuring trackability and ownership is maintained throughout its life cycle.

To thrive in this role, you must...
  • Have experience with Intune including creating packages and configuration profiles
  • Have demonstrated experience working within desktop support environment, including 3rd line support
  • Have experience managing applications including, OneDrive/SharePoint/Cloud storage and MS Office365.
