Our client in the Retail industry is currently looking for a Desktop Publisher, in Hillcrest, Kwa - Zulu Natal.Responsibilities:

• Designing and layout of Broadsheets, Leaflets, and Point of Sale.
• Format and layout documents according to brand guidelines.
• Create visually appealing graphics, images, and illustrations to enhance documents.
• Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in desktop publishing.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to corporate standards.

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in graphic design.
• Experience in FMCG is a must.
• Proven experience as a Desktop Publisher or a similar role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Knowledge of typography, layout, and colour theory.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work on Mac.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with print production and prepress processes.
• Know the difference between RGB - CMYK & Pantone.
• Experience in Digital Printing Industry.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail whilst working quickly.
• Layout experience in Adobe CC beneficial.
• Setting up & Correcting files for print - getting files Print Ready.
• Knowledge in packaging.
• Large format printing knowledge essential.
• Vehicle branding knowledge beneficial.

• R10 000 - R15 000 per month.
