At least 4 years experience dealing with desktop hardware in large companies
Able and willing to work shifts, public holidays and weekends when needed
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct assistance: Provide first-line support to the company group employees and affiliated companies.
Proactive guidance: Anticipate issues and offer support to ensure employees follow best practices and maximize their use of the company systems.
Application expertise: Troubleshoot and maintain applications running on companys IT hardware infrastructure.
System administration overflow: Assist the system administration team by handling additional work within the company technology environment
Application Software Support: Provide assistance with a wide range of application software,
including all Microsoft Products. This could involve installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and answering user questions.
Network and Telecommunications Support: Offer basic to advanced support for network issues, including WiFi connectivity and other telecommunication problems. This might include troubleshooting network connectivity, diagnosing performance issues, and helping users configure their devices.
End-User Training: Deliver basic training to users on various software and technology topics. This could involve teaching them how to use specific applications, navigate the network, or troubleshoot common problems
